Half of the Russian population, especially the older generation, are all OK with the invasion. They all miss old Soviet union and truely see Ukraine as part of Russia. It is only the rest of the world that thinks Putin has gone mad.
- przeor 5y agoWhy it's called Ukraine, not Russia then? ZSSR stopped exsisting in 1990, thanks good as Im from Poland and ZSSR times were dark here. Putin first shhould rename their country to ZSSR before trying to capture Ukraine. Otherwise the order doesnt make sense to invide Ukraine as this is independent country for last 30 years, same as Poland. How people im Russia want old times back?
- TowerTall 5y agoI think you fail to understand that Putin is pretty much the continuum of old Soviet Union. Is it still a militaty dictatorship like USSR are. Where i live there are many Russians and many of them says that to govern a country as large requires a dictator.
