For people who aren't in the know about modern dotnet, you can also do single file deployment on top of the self contained deployment. There's even a ReadyToRun thing that precompiles things that would otherwise be JIT compiled.
Experimenting with Uno framework, I was able to build a Skia Linux GUI that built to only 2 files, the program and a skia library.
