I hate on-site because I'm unable to pee next to others. It's embarrassing, so I avoid office bathrooms.
Surely I'm not the only one? Guys don't talk about this.

- enw 5y agoFeels embarrassing to always go in the stall when I obviously only need to pee.
- dymk 5y agoGrab some granola bars from the snack counter, bring them into the stall, drop them into the toilet so your coworkers won't think anything's amiss

- LAC-Tech 5y agoI mean I can only speak for myself, but I don't look at another man going into a bathroom and stall and think "wait a minute.... is he NOT taking a shit?" then start getting my stopwatch out and cross-referencing that with studies of average defecation times. Surely no one really cares.

- mtoddsmith 5y agoIt’s called Paruresis or Pee Shy which I learned from Reddit. There’s plenty of talk if you know what to search for. It happens to my kids sometimes so I’ve had to coach them through it.
