I think it’s interesting that China could dictate the timing to Russia.

China is far stronger than Russia, and going forward Russia will be extremely dependent on them, because of sanctions for the Ukraine invasion. IMHO, China's likely going to be able to turn Russia into a vassal.
- jacknews 5y agoThis would be a very unwelcome development for western countries. But it makes sense for China; why bark yourself, when you have a nuclear poodle?
