My first reaction was, "He lost it anyway, so why not make it look like a charitable donation that makes him look like one of the good guys?"
- bidirectional 5y agoDonating all of the proceeds to the victims of what he explicitly calls the war in Ukraine is quite a statement. It's not something one would do if they wanted to remain in Putin's graces.
