While this is only a link to the manufacturer, Matias has created a clone of the ALPS mechanical keyboard switches used in some of the 1990's ADB keyboards made by Apple.
If you want to build your own keyboard, you can buy switches (200-packs for $50), different keycap sets and accessories such as stabilizers. This might be an interesting alternative to Cherry (or Cherry clone) switches. But take care, the keycaps are not compatible between Alps/Matias and Cherry switches.
