Could/does it get better with time and effort? I imagine that at first, it takes longer and/or more effort to offload tasks to a PA. This seems fairly obvious. But it also seems likely to me that over time you could come to a great relationship, where they get your needs and routine, and there is a big savings of time and effort. The problem IMO is that unless you’re making big money or the company is paying for one, having a full time PA is just well out of the question financially. And there are logistics issues with part time PAs serving 4-5 people, I’d imagine.
