When Dartmouth accepted women they increased the class size so they still admit the same number of men. It seems like a good compromise. I'm sure it is not perfect but I think it should be better than holding the class size fixed. (Note that many school buildings are quite old. A school could replace their smallest buildings with larger ones so as to not need more land. Furthermore, this is something alumni can make happen by stipulating it with their donations; no need to go to court.)
