"Git for everything" is the first thought I had when I opened this article. I am trying to keep all my notes in Google docs and it's all good as long as you stick to their format. I can't edit text files in Google docs ! I mean, how absurd is this. I feel like building a Google docs clone for simple text files. Just one feature - versioning (A Time machine like interface) and perhaps add collaborative editing later. I just want to write and store a text document without having to create multiple files. Automatic versioning of snapshots so I can go back in time and refer to any timestamp.
