I’m glad the world is coming together to put pressure on Russia. Though am I the only one that feels like Putin is just itching to use a nuclear weapon? Every additional sanction I wonder if it will be the straw that breaks the camel’s back.
It’s literally the push of a button to have a salvo of SLBMs put a dent in every major city on the continent of their choosing.
- 1MachineElf 5y agoThat's why many places in Europe also have nuclear weapons. They are a deterrent. I highly doubt Russia would nuke any territory they are trying to take over such as Ukraine. Other places it's possible, but the response would be equally destructive too. It's a no-win situation.
- trixie_ 5y agoYes that is rational, but Putin is not acting rational. If the world backs him into a corner he might do something rash. He’s isolated, paranoid, and has a big red button in front of him.
