Considering how the West overplays the technological sanctions card, many countries will jump on this bandwagon as soon as RISC-V solutions will be more or less competitive. We already can see it in the embedded space (even Russia has a sizable stake in RISC-V) and I expect we will see reasonable high-end solutions in 5-10 years.
