Is there a platform similar to RPi but with a RISC-V cpu? (I don't care about gpu, so headless one, but with rj45 and few USB3 ports would be great).

- miniwark 5y agoSiFive did had one in the past (HiFive Unleashed). They still offer an Arduino like board for $59. See: https://www.sifive.com/boards/hifive1-rev-b https://www.sifive.com/boards/hifive1-rev-b The more RPi like one actually available, seems to be the Nezha, available on AlieExpress for around $99~170 (and on other places too) https://fr.aliexpress.com/item/1005002668194142.html https://fr.aliexpress.com/item/1005002668194142.html A short review here: https://www.cnx-software.com/2021/05/20/nezha-risc-v-linux-sbc/ https://www.cnx-software.com/2021/05/20/nezha-risc-v-linux-s... And a extensive wiki page: https://linux-sunxi.org/Allwinner_Nezha https://linux-sunxi.org/Allwinner_Nezha Finally, there also seem to be a BeagleBoard (coming soon or vaporware?) in association with the chinese chip-maker starFive: https://beagleboard.org/static/beagleV/beagleV.html https://beagleboard.org/static/beagleV/beagleV.html

- blacksmith_tb 5y agoKind of expensive though, its cousin[1] is more appealing to me, though I haven't ordered one yet. 1: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003594875290.html https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003594875290.html
- rjsw 5y agoHow about the Starfive VisionFive [1]? [1] https://starfivetech.com/en/site/exploit https://starfivetech.com/en/site/exploit
- goodpoint 5y agoSipeed Lichee RV. At around 28 euro with a dock it's pretty unbeatable. (For a RISC-V)
- HenryMulligan 5y agoHow about the https://www.espressif.com/en/news/ESP32_C3 https://www.espressif.com/en/news/ESP32_C3 ? Not sure if it supports USB or Ethernet (IIRC previous versions supported ethernet and also USB to some extent). This would be less powerful than a rPi, but on the up-side is available right now on Amazon for about $20 with good support.
