If I understood it correctly, it was BEFORE he was elected as president, isn’t it? He was an actor, a celebrity and he own pricey London real estates? I don’t see why it’s worth a headline.
- GrigoriyMikh 5y agoI think it's a little bit more complex. Offshores were established before Zelensky become a president. But it was long speculated that Zelensky's presedency was supported by oligarch Kolomoisky. Data that was leaked via Pandora papers, as far as i understand, shows us a mechanism, how financial support was provided by Kolomoisky.
- sinuhe69 5y agoI don’t know where did you read in the Pandora papers that Kolomoisky was involved. If you have the passage, please point out. What I do know is Kolomoisky was publicly designated by the US government as involved in significant corruption in the Ukraine. The normal logic dictates that if Zelensky was heaved to presidency using Kolomoisky’s money, the US government must take a distance from him and his government after the public designation of Kolomoisky. But what we see is quite the opposite, a full corporation with the Zelensky government. Besides, for political topics, especially on time-sensitive topics like this one, it might be helpful if you reveal your true nationality.
