How many of those were active landgrabs though? Wars for redrawing borders have really become exceptionally rare. Particularly if you exclude those staged by Putin on some weak pretense (Putin, or whether his real name is. After the last weeks I don't believe a single word he says)
- helge9210 5y ago> Wars for redrawing borders have really become exceptionally rare Since Yalta-Potsdam conferences world doesn't recognize the right of conquest. Since Peace of Westphalia historical grounds for aggression were not valid. In his speech Putin dived directly to Rus, denying centuries of political development. That is the main reason Russia is dangerous to everyone: not because of an attack on Ukraine, but because of dismantling the current world order. WW3 is not "Russia against the world". WW3 is every country seeing the possibility of quietly entering the fry and getting out in a better position.
