I know several people with HM Aerons and I always see them leaning all the way back, using it like a reclining chair. It makes me hesitate about these chairs. Personally I have a HM Mirra and I feel it is a superior chair. To my previous point, Mirra's design seems to encourage more straight-up sitting style rather than gratuitous reclining. Another advantage are the adjustable arm rests, which can rotate inwards (good for laptops) or outwards (good for desks) depending on your situation. Makes me wonder if the Aeron might be a little over-hyped.
- verdverm 5y agoThe full featured one has all the same features you describe. The reclining has three settings. I noticed I had been reclining too much and likely didn't notice that I had accidentally changed a knob to allow for this. Been upright since I discovered it. I bought the gamer model, which is full featured model without config choices, slightly cheaper. Very happy with the purchase, body is too
- 1MachineElf 5y agoThat sounds awesome. I hadn't realized options like that were available. Thanks!
- coip 5y agoThere’s a tensioner you can adjust the static force holding you upright with. Cranking it tighter definitely can keep you from the lazy boy experience.
