- londons_explore 5y ago"families needs" is deceptive. There is plain simple drinking water, but that's a tiny amount compared to that needed for washing, farming, and all other uses for water. For example, a person in the USA uses 4 tons of water per day! Yet under 0.05% of that is drunk.
