Nothing that I didn't know. Of course as manager you need to manage people, make decisions, and fire people. I doubt you didn't know before getting there. One thing which I find very inefficent is the meeting hopping among managers. Someone really needs to run a study how much value it brings vs how much of it is just money down the drain. You can't convince me 5 hours of meeting every day is adding value to the company.
