I am African and I do live here, this article is mostly accurate, there is no one African country that is close to a western standard of living, why? Corruption is rampant, poor institutions (mostly nepotism to blame) and other countries still offering money to us despite these two facts. They never ending cycle:If I give you money and you do not use it the way you said you would, why would I give you more? But yet they still do...
