Talk about tired arguments. All popularity really means is good PR.
As to toasters and Nintendos, yes I do whatever I want with those, toasters have nothing to stop me and Nintendos are usually trivial (and often have flash carts available) to get a shell on.

- pinephoneguy 5y agoWhy wouldn't applying reason (especially since you're familiar with your personal situation) result in better decisions than just listening to people who are paid to tell you what to think? What argument are you even making here?
- imwillofficial 5y agoYou are extrapolating your own personal niche tastes to the wider market. This is obviously a mistake. Personally I am happy you have devices that satisfy your needs. I also understand that the average person makes different value calls and that drives different choices. Summing all that up as good PR is lazy and intellectually dishonest.
