How is the state of certificate authorities included in browsers these days?
I remember some years back there being much noise about supposedly atrocious behaviour by some of the default included cert issuers...
- hannob 5y agoIt's much better. There are processes to enforce good behavior, these are very transparent (basically everything is happening on public mailing lists, the mozilla bugtracker and wiki), and in extreme cases CAs get distrusted for real. None of that is happening for QWACs.
