Hoppscotch raised money right? Unfortunately the nature of most VC backed companies is to believe features are the answer to monetization and enterprise adoption. These things quickly become bloated because of that. So people slamming Postman, yes the product has become a Swiss army knife, but they're trying to figure out how to scale a business long term and that often means leaving behind free users. Don't be surprised if hoppscotch does the same.
- datavirtue 5y agoA bloated mess of a tool is going to get dropped by developers. The last thing we need is a something like postman hamming up our day. Logging in, online this, cloud that. No thanks. The end for me was when it took me a half hour of failed google searches to import an old collection. They are going to lose enterprise inertia, it has already started.
