current sanctions do not target russia’s oil or gas outputs.
germany’s nord stream 1 is still running.
gas outflows from russia to the west via ukraine have increased in the past week.
it will take a long time before the west is completely off russia.
- redisman 5y agoSeems like all that could be unnecessary. Europe wants to at least make it through the winter with heat. Unless their Central Bank has something brilliant lined up the Russian economy will have a heart attack within a few days.
