Hell, I got rid of all of them, and the only thing I got in return was freedom from a world-spanning surveillance network. Small print: I am, of course, still thoroughly tracked and instrumented by Facebook, even with my account officially deleted. I'm thinking at some point I may try an experiment and re-create my account, see if they actually held on to my stuff after all.
