This page is an absolute disaster without an adblocker. Good lord.
- woodruffw 5y agoI disabled mine and didn't notice any changes. What are you seeing?
- ijlx 5y agoI disabled mine on Firefox, didn't see any changes. Switched to Chromium (where I don't have an adblocker) and the number of ads was egregious. I count 8 full-width ads interrupting the text at regular intervals, along with one on the bottom that follows as I scroll.
- eliseumds 5y agoIt is really next-level. I'm seeing a gigantic full-width ad every 3 or 4 paragraphs, plus a bottom-fixed ad (10 total). That's nuts.

There are so many ads because almost none of my visitors use the above options. At least they're honest about it, and give explicit support to using an adblocker.
- philipswood 5y agoYeah, I also find it a bit funny and a bit discordant that he feels so strongly about free software while at the same time not being triggered at all by the internet ad ecosystem and chooses to use that as a way to monetise this post.
