There is a difference between people fleeing from a neighbouring country that is being attacked and those who were used as a tools in an obvious provocation. Bordering countries decided to open borders for Ukrainian citizens (elders, women and children) because they know what it is to be "liberated" by Russians. The conflict involves at the moment Russia and Ukraine (and let's hope Belarus won't be "invited") and not India, or other e.g. some African countries. Foreigners were told to leave Ukraine long before Russia decided to attack.
