Is Supabase Production Ready?
Here are the two other options I'm considering for app, but I want to understand if Supabase is a more efficient alternative. Thanks for help!
First way: (low cost)
VPS server on DigitalOcean
Setup node server and nginx
API and frontend managed by pm2 and serve through nginx as proxy
Setup managed PostgreSQL at DigitalOcean
Second Way:
React app on AWS Amplify/Heroku
Lambda/Serverless node API in aws
PostgreSQL at aws

- abdusm 5y agothanks for the heads up. That sucks, really wanted to use it
- smt88 5y agoSorry, actually I want to recommend this instead: https://render.com/ https://render.com/
- kiwicopple 5y agosupabase ceo here. Anything in particular that you found not production-ready? The technology stack is really just a thin layer on top of PostgreSQL, which is very stable, so even if you don't like our hosted offering the self-hosted should be a fine choice for a production system
