- eloisius 5y agoWhat do you mean? Canada is a NATO member. This is talking about commercial traffic. If Canada’s airspace was violated by military it would probably trigger article 5.
- ukraineally 5y agoCF18s have turned back Russian air force MANY times. Back during financial crisis the Russians were coming into our territory often. Obviously no shots fired, Russian pilots were very lost. This notam isn't about military. CF18s can easily send commercial planes packing. Russians won't be sending military planes our way. Airspace incursion by military planes would be article 5 instantly. Russian military is losing to Ukraine. NATO actively joining into the war would be a roll. Russia would fall over so quickly, the more difficult task would be deciding who gets what territory.
