Interesting to see that a book on the topic of learning git "from the inside out" includes a section on remote work (chapter 6). I see that a VCS is almost a necessity for working remotely with others on code, but I wonder how specifically git practices used in co-location and remotely are different (git practices, not GitHub practices).
