Musk says Starlink active in Ukraine as Russian invasion disrupts internet
- sschueller 5y agoSince Starlink can't do satellite to satellite yet it requires ground stations to send the signal up and bounce it off. If these ground stations aren't around Ukraine this is useless. Second, where are Ukrainians going to get the dish? Is Elon sending them over there via military air drop for free? Or is SpaceX going to open source plans so Ukrainians can build their own from scraps? This seems like a typical empty publicity stunt by Elon sorry to say.
