Author’s scale is too small. I would argue he learned a few thing, did not waste a lot of time, and it was just another not-so-complicated approach. In a setting with many people and departments, and each having their own agendas, things get really complicated. Information is misunderstood, twisted, biased and acted differently when it reaches actual person who does the work.
