Right. If an argument can be made for the US overthrowing Saddam. Why can't an argument be made for Iran doing it? Iran was invaded by Saddam. Why didn't we support them if Saddam was so bad? That is a rhetorical question which really needs no response because the response is: the badness of Saddam has no bearing on the question. That is very obvious in this case, but not obvious when we are seeking self-serving justifications for our own wars.
