Usually a wise move, I do the same with the mainstream game consoles. I waitied for the PS4 slim to come out, and it happened to be a great decision as the original PS4 didn't have a 5GHz wireless adapter. I know playing online using a wireless connection isn't ideal, but it's better to play on 5GHz than on the already crowded 2.4GHz.
