Doesn't macOS compress memory on the fly, or something like that?
- kcplate 5y agoNo idea…I’m long past the point where I get deep into the gears of the devices I use, I just want them to work when I need them to work.
- shmoe 5y agoMan ain't that the truth. I think it just means we're getting old.
- arghwhat 5y agoYes, but that behaves just like fast swap. You can do the same on Linux with zram.
