Ask HN: Does uBlock hide the content of your Gmail?
Since yesterday, ublock origin seems to hide the content of my email in gmail, am I alone ?
- themodelplumber 5y agoI just checked and it doesn't seem to happen here, all emails show up OK when uBlock Origin is enabled. Does the extension offer other controls or filters you can experiment with?
- co1nm4ster 5y agoMaybe you blocked some elements and an update broke that filter? Check your custom filters.
- SuberMario 5y agoI have several adblockers. It needs manual calibration. Especially creditcards need to be controlled before its send. I have no email from Google, but uBlock Origin.
- eggbrain 5y agoAs a confirmation, my friend had this happen to them today as well. Perhaps some sort of A/B test?

- soco 5y agoAs soon as I disable AdNauseam, it shows the emails. Do you have by chance both uBlock Origin and AdNauseam? That's a configuration recommended against.
