Insulation is irrelevant to the question given the context of Russia stopping gas deliveries to Europe due to SWIFT sanctions. There simply isn't time to insulate enough houses to make a difference. It would take years.
- bluGill 5y agoOne person who upgrades their insulation can make the equivalent difference of several turning the heat down, and when they tell their friends what their new bills are inspire more to upgrade
- _Algernon_ 5y agoMy point is that that is irrelevant to the issue of gas shortages in Europe due to the Ukraine situation. I'm not saying that insulation is a bad thing long term.
