For me it is the oposite. Windows is buggy as hell, plus tracking me all the time. Also installs apps (and updates) without my permission (hello candy crash :D)

For me it is the oposite. Windows is buggy as hell, plus tracking me all the time. Also installs apps (and updates) without my permission (hello candy crash :D). I can not bare Windows much more (writting from a windows box) and I only use it because my boss needs it for a specific software..., at home only Linux.
- smoyer 5y agoWindows 7 is reasonably bug-free at this point but using Windows 10 can be horrible (running vlc will sometimes freeze the whole system). Using this comparison, recent versions of DOS are probably less buggy than both Windows and Linux. I switched to Mint and liked the experience (my older Dell hardware was very well supported) but at the time, Mint was well behind Debian and Ubuntu upstream distributions from a security patching perspective. Moving up the distro hierarchy to Debian itself (for my workstations) has been well worth the effort.
