Why the wait? It only allows funds to move in the meantime. If it's going to be cut off there should be no warning.
- riskable 5y agoIt's just your classic, "it's not so simple" problem. SWIFT has endpoints just like any other protocol. Someone's job right now is to compile a list of endpoints (aka banks) that are to be cut off and then it'll be someone else's job to approve that list. Then there will be negotiating and agreements and whatnot.
