What’s “devirtualization” in this context?
- yuchi 5y agoI think it’s the wrong term completely. This is old school deobfuscation.
- anonymoushn 5y agoThe obfuscated code appears to implement a lua VM in lua and run the obfuscator's user's code in that. "devirtualization" here means removing that layer.
- stevemk14ebr 5y agoA VM based obfuscation scheme is known as virtualized. Defeating the VM and restoring the original code is called devirtualizing
