IMHO instead of doing fancy tricks the first day for interviewing take something that could be completed in one day at the job you are interviewing for and if you can complete it or get it near enough I would think that would be a better criterion to hire. Also, this interview would be paid for the first day at the same rate that you would be hired for.
- smaddox 5y agoWait... completed in one day? So an ~8 hour task? That's way too much of an ask for an interview, in my opinion.
- withinboredom 5y agoNot everyone does well in a high stakes environment, which is what this sounds like it would create.
