According to https://www.timeanddate.com/weather/ukraine/chernobyl/historic https://www.timeanddate.com/weather/ukraine/chernobyl/histor... , there was light rain in Chernobyl since Thursday. This should reduce the dust hypothesis, no?
- ch4s3 5y agoIt depends on the particular isotopes, most aren't water soluble but some would precipitate out of the air on rain. So it's hard to say.
