I want to learn how to do Stick Figures. Sort of like the xkcd.
Would "Making Comics" help with that? If not, if anyone has any resources for stick figures, please mention them in a reply to this post.
- drums8787 5y agoIndirectly, yes. Even if you just want to draw stick figures, you need to put marks on paper (or tablet, but the analog way has benefits IMO), and the book helps with that. You’ll need to practice abstraction and that’s nothing more than seeing and drawing. A lot. Check out the Gary Panter link above. Fill a sketchbook with stick figure versions of the stuff around you and you’re off to a good start.
