Does it send the data anywhere?

  There is a cloud component, but in this case it’s syncing text expansions you saved to it making it more like 1Password than Grammarly.

  I guess I try to follow least permissions principle everywhere; no matter what it gets and where it sends - but good point.

    Not a point, honest query. My personal rule would be if it sends data anywhere yes, if it logs the key press data locally yes too (also why) otherwise probably not but never say never
