What does this buy over using the unbound package found in Alpine?
- madnuttah 5y agoI can specify custom compiler flags and enable or disable options like i.e. "enable-ec_nistp_64_gcc_128" optimizations for OpenSSL for 64bit architectures, this isn't enabled in the default package. Also the original Unbound package makes only use of OpenSSL 1.1.1. Unbound is further compiled with the mentioned hardening features and unnecessary modules like python were left out just to name a few. I'm also providing the package faster and can adapt user's requests for example DNSTap. Conclusion: I can act with most possible flexibility.
