Why Is Ukraine the West's Fault?
- chmaynard 5y agoAt around 29-30 minutes, the speaker says Putin is too smart to actually try to create a 'greater Russia' by conquering Ukraine. This video was recorded in 2015. What is Mearsheimer saying now?
- goatsneez 5y agoThe facts in the video are indisputable. Basically the same is said from the man himself just read the transcript of V.P.'s speech delivered on Feb 24 -- there everything is said (so from this perspective the speaker is properly understanding the situation). Right now it is early to say or conclude much about the new arrangements as all force-fields of geopolitics have not reached new equilibrium (and they may not be for some time). However, the substance of the video and the reason that lead up to this are no mystery, they have been communicated openly for several months now. Hence, there should be little puzzlement over how and why this is happening. One can reject the argument made by V.P., however, one cannot deny the reality of it. - chmaynard 5y agoPutin is a fraud. Geopolitical politics is a fraud. War is a crime against humanity and the environment. It must be abolished forever.
