Are any of you dogfooding your prototypes full-time?
If it's comfortable for you to use for full workdays in programming, I'd bite the bullet and get one. I've wanted something like this for years, but don't think I'd want it unless it can totally replace my laptop.
- kanetw 5y agoNot yet using the prototypes (there's basically literally two samples of the displays we're using and we need them for dev) but once we have more of them produced, yeah, definitely. George used a Vive Pro for early software dev a lot.
- georgewsinger 5y agoThanks for your interest. I know it's a cliche, but yes, we are actually building a VR computer because we want to use them ourselves (completely replacing our own Laptops/PCs).
