Runtime Type Information for TypeScript
- rektide 5y agoFingers crossed! Its so absurd having so much type information, but having it all bound up tight inside one not-very-extensible compiler. Type information should be a thing other tools can build on. It feels like typescript has been letting this slide for a long long time now.
- rezonant 5y agoI agree! But luckily transformers let us take matters into our own hands. This solution aims to provide any type of metadata you'd be interested in and already covers a great deal of cases like reflection on classes without decorators, getting tokens for interfaces, reflecting on interface structure, doing object shape matching at runtime, reflecting on functions and more!
