Love the idea, and as someone who has been playing a lot of squabble.me I don't mind speed-Wordle. But this is way too fast, it's basically unplayable for me.

  Thanks! We've already reduced the speed and gravity a lot, as well as expanded the space between the pipes, but I agree. If you play a few times you can start to get the hang of it, but it's nearly impossible. To some degree it was a development challenge, though I think it'd be good to make it at least a little more playable.

    Slowing it down more, or allowing more than 6 guesses, would make it much more playable. It's already "de-wordlized" because there isn't enough time to guess actual words before the last guess.

      I've also been frustrated with the guess limit. It's enormously challenging to come up with new words on the spot, while not crashing the bird.

  Also, I've played a bit now and I've successfully gotten the word twice. In reality I think the difficulty is too high for it to have enough of a retention sort of hook.

    I think you might be right that it's a matter of practice, but retention is an issue. Flappy Bird already has an inherent difficulty increase (speed increase), so you could keep the words coming in infinitely with the speed increasing as you get each word correct.

      True. I think it'd be better to make the solution accessible earlier rather than later. Past that point, I can increase the difficulty. Thanks for the feedback!

I love this! My only complaint is that it allows any word, so someone could just type the alphabet, in order (minus Z), for the first five guesses and then most of the time have a good guess at the word in their 6th guess. Would you consider restricting guesses to a dictionary?
