Show HN: Hey Cadence – Daily Audio TLDR News for Your Portfolio
- danofmars 5y agoHey! I'm Dan. I made Hey Cadence. Sometime around last year I realized I had no idea what was going on in the companies in my portfolio -- if something bad happened I wouldn't know about it until it was too late. This I thought was somewhat irresponsible. I also have about 12-16 companies, which makes it impractical to be constantly looking for news on all of them. So I got a news aggregator set up, then condensed news so it only gave the highlights, and then turned it into audio so I can listen to it -- usually only a couple minutes long. I currently listen to it in the mornings, and if something catches my ear, I search on Google if I want more details. I've found it pretty good for keeping an eye on things, and I hope you might find some use in it as well. Cheers!
