"Sticks" of butter are something a Canadian only sees when they travel to the USA or watches American television. Butter is just not obtainable that way here.

I'm in Toronto, and I get butter all the time that is four "sticks" but it's sold all as one unit. You just cut it into quarters. Also the wrapper has measurements on it.
