Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System [pdf]
- tromp 5y agoAnother very interesting design by an anonymous author is https://scalingbitcoin.org/papers/mimblewimble.txt https://scalingbitcoin.org/papers/mimblewimble.txt where outputs are simply Pedersen commitments r*G+v*H, and ownership is knowledge of their blinding factor r. This require an interaction between sender and receiver to jointly construct a signature, but allows all spent outputs to be completely removed from blockchain history.

- trainsarebetter 5y agoGood old days where the forums where mostly just hardcore cypherpunks and geeks fascinated with decentralization protocols and game theory. And monetary sovereignty. i miss those times. it just too much work now to filter through the bullshit.
- aaaaaaaaata 5y agoYou don't have to read social media to hold BTC/ETH.
- trainsarebetter 5y agoI’m Norma refer To holding. It’s about interesting, intelligent discussion. Not hype and price banter.
- ada1981 5y agoThis is an awesome idea!
- space_rock 5y agoNot going to work. True blockchains have their coins pre distributed to VC at a discount. This open money system can't work without insiders
- f3rnando 5y agoYou nailed it. The most insiders the better. Trustees!=insiders.
- f3rnando 5y agoEppur si muove
